Beirut Art Center

At Beirut Art Center

As tourists we always rush from one museum to another, but once at home, we are too lazy to find out what’s going on in our surroundings. I  am so ashamed I wasn’t at Beirut Art Center until yesterday. They were showing an exhibition about revolutions around the world: Revolution vs Revolution. You can see photos and videos by artists from countries like South Africa, Russia, Lebanon and Germany. I suppose I’m not allowed to show you photos here, so here I am in my fuschia tights in their small book shop at the entrance. Should you go there, please tell me which work you liked more. Personally, I loved the photo suggesting a fading memory by Alfredo Jaar.
